FUNCTIONING celebrates the toilet as an increasingly popular locus of self-cultivation, entertainment, and cultural connectedness. The site-specific installation combines sculptural assemblage, video, sound, kinetics, and live internet feeds within an experiential documentary format. Participants view the installation from a restroom, looking through peepholes into another restroom.
